COVID-19 can’t stop us from dancing and socializing from a distance!
My drop-in Sunday line dance class continues weekly. We start dancing with Beginner dances 6:30-7:30pm, and Improver dances 7:30-8:30pm. I review some dances, do a two-wall walk-through on others, and teach new dances. Requests always welcome.
We are now LIVE at the Calvary Church in Arlington, 300 Mass. Ave, Arlington. Enter through the doors on Linwood Street.
If you would like to attend on Zoom, you must let me know by 5:30 pm that day. I only bring the computer and sound system if someone wants to join remotely. The link for the Sunday the Zoom classes:

WEDNESDAYS in Arlington have returned!
* COUNTRY WESTERN LINE DANCING: It’s fun, it’s easy, it’s exercise? Yes! Line dancing is a simple way to get low-impact light exercise. This is a class designed for anyone who likes to move to music. Line dances are pre-set routines that require no partner,no particular skill, no experience, and no equipment. Everyone, from teens to seniors, can participate–just line up and follow the calls.
Start date: Wednesday, July 6. 6-week summer session.
Time: Beginner 6-7:15pm, Improver 7:30-8:45pm

You need to register & pay through Arlington Community Ed. (781) 316-3568 Proof of vaccination is required; masks are optional but recommended. Rules ae set by Arlington Schools, and can change.
* SWING DANCE PLUS: For those comfortable with the triple step, here’s your chance to add to your repertoire and improve your swing style. We’ll introduce 8-count moves, including a lindy turn. Learn to become a better leader/follower. Come with a partner, or come alone. Add to your fun and get some terrific exercise!

* Rape Aggression Defense (RAD) Training:The goal of the RAD program is to provide realistic self-defense options—both risk reduction and physical resistance—for women. Preparation through education and training is the best way to avoid (if possible) or survive (when needed) an assault situation. Learn techniques to disable an assailant, risk avoidance methods, and empowerment through knowledge.
